November 21 marks a nationwide celebration of independent retailers and the community that supports them. This year, Port Jefferson village shoppes are proud to join the movement in a big way with the Pink Friday Boutique Crawl — a festive evening of shopping, strolling, and celebrating small businesses before the big box rush.

On Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 PM, 24 of your favorite local boutiques will open their doors for a one-of-a-kind community shopping experience. Enjoy exclusive promotions, giveaways, refreshments, and pink-themed holiday cheer at every stop.

A Nationwide Movement

Pink Friday, founded by The Boutique Hub, is a nationwide initiative encouraging shoppers to #SupportSmallFirst and make local businesses their first stop for holiday gifts.

In 2024, the event united more than 5,000 small businesses across all 50 states, and this year that number is expected to nearly double — proving that when communities come together, small really is mighty.

The Power of Shopping Small

For Tabu Boutique, hosting Pink Friday isn’t just about sales — it’s about connection.

“This is our chance to remind people that shopping local isn’t just convenient — it’s personal,” said Kristen Hoffman, owner of Tabu Boutique. “Every purchase makes a real difference. Giving Back: A Win-Win for Communities

Pink Friday is an annual nationwide event held the Friday before Black Friday, celebrating small businesses and encouraging shoppers to shop small first. Organized by The Boutique Hub, the event focuses on connection, creativity, and community — inspiring shoppers to support local before the holiday season begins.

Pink Friday is more than a shopping event — it’s a movement with heart. The Boutique Hub, the national organization that founded Pink Friday, has partnered with Heart on Main Street to donate $1 for every participating business, with this year’s funds going directly to support Texas Hill Country retailers impacted by devastating floods.
